From Plastic Bottles to Linens

Many Brides have been going "green" for the past few years and the interesting theme is growing rapidly as businesses support their Brides eco-friendly practices.  Smith Mountain Lake Weddings is proud to offer Brides a wonderful new linen made of recycled bottles.  I'm sure that your first thought is, that linen must feel and look scratchy and hard.  Not so, Botela Damask is available in two colors Natural and White so it's usable in almost any wedding decor.

So, how are they made?  Plastic bottles with a "1" designation on the bottom were first recycled into yarn, which was subsequently used in the fabric used for the finished linens.  Botela Damask is the first 100% recycled fabric added to Smith Mountain Lake Weddings linen choices and we are happy to offer this for our "Green" events in our area.

Natural Botela Damask and White Botela Damask are available at the following discounted prices in 2009
Napkins - $1.90 each
120" round - $43.00
132" round - $48.00
